Chief Technology Officer
As Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Fusion Risk Management, Cory Cowgill leads the company’s research and development initiatives. Under his leadership, Fusion has moved to the forefront of applying artificial intelligence to enterprise resilience, driving the strategy and buildout of Fusion’s embedded generative AI capabilities, and overseeing the broader roadmap to bring agentic AI capabilities into the platform across business continuity, IT disaster recovery, crisis and incident management, and operational and third-party risk.
Cory brings over 20 years of enterprise software and SaaS experience across multiple industries, with a leadership approach grounded in a dedication to technology, innovation, and risk management.

Cory holds a Bachelor of Computer Science from Western Illinois University and multiple certifications, including Salesforce System Architect and Application Architect, Amazon Web Services Solution Architect, and Cloud Security Alliance CCSK. He has presented at Dreamforce, the world’s largest enterprise software conference, eight times, and is a member of the Salesforce MVP Hall of Fame.
