Alex Ostrovsky

Alex has 17 years of experience on the Salesforce platform across multiple industries, eight of which are in operational resilience. He also holds multiple Salesforce certifications.
Alex started his career in 2004 by launching a startup in e-commerce. He sold his startup in 2009 and then started doing small business consulting, specializing in SEO, e-commerce, growth strategies, and client retention. In 2011, one of his clients (the nation’s largest buyer of precious metals) asked him to come on to their team full time to manage their Salesforce.com implementation and develop a custom point of sale (POS) solution on the platform, ultimately allowing their buyers to streamline their transactions and improve conversion, tracking, and reporting. In 2013, he joined Discovery Communication in their education division as a Salesforce CRM Functional Lead to help streamline the sales and support automation processes.
Alex joined Fusion in 2014 as a Sr. Business Analyst. At the time, Fusion had about 15 employees and 40 clients. With his implementation expertise, Alex helped Fusion grow to a company of over 250 employees and 350 clients. Today, he manages Fusion’s solutions engineering team.

Alex was born in Kiev, Ukraine; his family immigrated to the United States when he was five. He is fluent in Russian and is also a proud husband and father!
